One of my signature pieces, this one of a kind necklace reminds me of several of Claude Monet's incredible impressionist paintings.  The play of colors of the Tourmaline gemstones echo his use of hues and shades of which he is famous.  Blues, greens, yellows and pinks, in light and dark hues, each one different than the next vie for attention and meld together into a gorgeous display of color amid the richness of the solid 14 karat gold. 

Over 60 individual jumprings were used in the loving creation of this Shaggy Loops Necklace.  Each jumpring started out as a length of gold wire, hand coiled, cut, tumbled to clean and polish each ring to an incredible glow which is characteristic of solid gold, and then woven one by one into the shaggy loops pattern.  40 gorgeous Multi-Tourmaline 4mm faceted gemstone rondelles sit upon their own individually crafted coiled headpins and are then wire wrapped into the shaggy loops chainmail base.   Solid 14 karat gold chain and clasp complete the necklace.  The entire piece is 16 inches in length and includes a 2 inch extender chain for your convenience.
